Daily Record Q&A

Daily Record recently asked Ashley Tisdale a few questions.

Q I TAKE it your are nothing like your character Maddie Fitzpatrick?

A They think people attack me on the show. I’m like ‘no, I think my fans and other people know I’m playing a character’.

Q THIS movie is so huge, as is the franchise, do you feel any pressure?

A Not at all. I don’t like to put pressure on myself because then I get stressed and it doesn’t come out well. I like to have more fun. I feel that everybody has their own path and you just have to follow your heart and your instincts on what you do next. I think High School Musical has given us so many more opportunities than we had before.

Q WERE you popular at school?

A I was home schooled, so I wouldn’t know, but my mom loved me.

Q DO you think you missed something because of that?

A I missed a lot of drama, and that’s fine. I feel like a lot of my high school experiences I actually got to live through High School Musical 3, and one of the most important things you learn in high school is yourself. You grow up, you have that core group of friends, and with High School Musical, I’ve made that group of friends. I’ve grown up through the business and going off on my own to do a movie without the cast for the very first time helped me find myself, it was just me on my own. I’ve learned a lot through everything I’ve done.
